Markie Post (born March 29 in 1961) has been an American actress best known as Christine Sullivan, a public defender on NBCs Night Court. Terri Michaels is a bail bondswoman in ABCs show The Fall Guy. Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman is a character on CBSs Hearts Afire. In addition to acting, she's also involved in several game series. When she was a kid she grew up at Walnut Creek with her siblings and poet Marylee Post. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her high school that she chose to attend. She participated as a cheerleader. She went to Pomona College for a short period of time, and later was graduated at Lewis & Clark College, Oregon. Post previously married Stephen Knox. In 1982 she was married to writer/actor Michael A. Ross with whom she has two daughters. Post's work as wife as well as mother is appreciated by a variety of Hollywood stars. Post has many early acting credits, including the pilot episode of Simon and Simon-Details at Eleven-in-1981-episode one-of-season-two-of The Greatest American Hero, two episodes of The A-Team as two characters from The Only Church-in-Town-in- 1983-Hot Styles-in-84-and-The Love Boat. She was Diane Chambers' best friend in the ABC sitcom Cheers as well as Buck Rogers, in which she played the character of Diane's closest friend.
