She was conceived on March 29, 1985, in Roswell near New Mexico. Gerina Michelle is her first name. Gerina Stevenson was born in Mexico in the family of Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. She is of Mexican-American heritage and is American by nationality. She has always been a sports enthusiast. Gerina took up golf for the first time at the age of 15. Gerina was a student at Goddard High School. She won the New Mexico State Golf Tournament at the age of high school. Also, she played volleyball at the state level. She began attending in the University of Texas. In her final year, she took home every single tournament she entered. Through her college time, she was awarded her the Conference USA Individual Champion Player of the Year Award and UTEP Female Athlete of the Year.
