Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28, 1967 as the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Roberts is part of an extended family of Robertses, the 4th generation who reside in the Atlanta region beginning by her grandfather John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. She was inspired by her father's love in the theater at an early time. He performed on stage on the Emory University campus in 1952 and in other productions around Atlanta. He joined the air force in 1953. While working in Biloxi Mississippi was cast in an military production starring Betty Lou Bredemus who was part of the air force. The couple married in 1955 and their first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter as well as his spouse left for the Army in 1957, at which time they were enrolled Walter to Tulane University. Walter worked for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1960, the family moved from the city of Decatur Georgia. The year 1964 was when Walter and Betty Lou began production on a local children's Saturday morning television program called Bum Bum and His Buddies that they designed and funded. The following year they started the Actors and Writers Workshop which continued for six seasons. In 1965, they welcomed two young children, Lelisa Billingsley along with Julia Billingsley.
