Jenna Fischer's most well-known role is that of Pam Beesly in the highly loved television series The Office. Fischer was awarded the award of two SAG Awards and an Emmy for her outstanding performance by an ensemble comedy.
She was raised primarily in St. Louis Missouri. Jenna saw her mother, Anne, perform in the church when she was younger that instilled a passion for theater and performing.
Fischer was a stage actress trained in her native country. The Off-Broadway production Reasons To Be Happy written by Neil LaBute with Josh Hamilton and Leslie Bibb as co-stars, Fischer was the lead. In the following play, she was a part of Steve Martin's Meteor Shower - an absurdist play starring Greg Germann with Josh Stamberg - for the Old Globe Theatre's debut world premiere.
The Office co-star Angela Kinsey and Fischer launched Office Ladies, a podcast on Earwolf in October 2019. The podcast has proven to be hugely successful, reaching its Top Ten worldwide every week, and receiving more than 200 million downloads during the first two years. Office Ladies received the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year Award in the month of January in 2021.
She's written two books, The Actor's Life A Survival Guide where she outlines her experience in Hollywood as an actor in the field, and Office BFF's, Tales of The Office From Two Great Friends who Were There, a memoir of the best friendships they enjoyed and their time watching The Office.
